From the Desk of Deacon Flowers…

Ephesians 6:13 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Comment: The enemy of your soul, seeks to destroy you by various means. One of his tools is discouragement. He tried it with Job. Job had no way of knowing that God had allowed Satan to afflict him. He lost everything, including his family. Yet, Job persevered, never gave up, and passed the test. Our faith is going to be tried. When it seems God has forsaken you, keep on going. When the money is gone, keep going. When your health is deteriorating, keep going, etc. Your world may seem to be crumbling, ……keep going. Never give up. God has not left you. Remember his promise, to never leave or forsake you.
